The club house was designed by the Munich architect and sculptor Peter Gehring. Mr Gehring's sculptures can be evidenced at various positions on the golf course. His ideas and objectives apart from the golf related facilities were to create space for a high quality restaurant within a friendly, cosy environment.
Club house with terrace and hotel balconies
The, in 1996 opened, four-winged club house with a partially covered 350 qm courtyard pays tribute to the work of Peter Gehring. The ground floor consists of the golf club's secretaries' office, the pro shop and a ca. 35 qm room for meetings. Also situated on this floor is a 75 seat public restaurant with its own bar and a 200 qm conference hall with lounge and approximately 100 qm of adjoining rooms. By the use of soundproof elements it is possible to partition the restaurant and conference hall to suit varying needs.
The 160 qm restaurant terrace is situated directly on the lake granting close views of the greens of hole numbers 9 and 18.
Terrace with the view to holes 9 and 18
The upper floor contains 20 double rooms.
All the facilities are used for a variety of reasons including golf club events, business meetings, concerts and birthday parties. Arrangements for the use of these facilities can also be made by non-members.
Since its opening, the patronage of the hotel and restaurant has been in the capable hands of Vito and Waltraud Sgobba.
The courtyard of the club house
The clubhouse basement contains a 500 qm caddy hall. The adjacent changing rooms are fitted with showers, toilets and, again, lockers for clothing. The caddy master busies himself with, among other things, prepairing members' clubs for play and storing them again after play. Clubs and shoes will be cleaned before storage. Repair work to broken utensils will also be performed on request. Enjoy maximum service in the caddy hall.
